Simple garlic, chilli and lemon Tenderstem® broccoli side dish

Swap bore-occoli for the lush, luxurious and leggy Tenderstem® to create this simple yet delicious side dish. The succulently sweet and slightly nutty taste of Tenderstem® broccoli is the perfect match for a tasty kick of garlic and chilli. A side dish – but better!

Method

  1. In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the Tenderstem® broccoli over a medium to high heat until nearly soft – this takes about 1 minute.

  2. Lower the heat, add the sliced garlic and chilli and cook until the garlic is turning slightly brown.

  3. Add the lemon juice and serve with salt and pepper to taste.
